This Privacy Policy explains how Centenary Technology Services (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles your information when you use the Gonza Ticketing Checker mobile application (the “App”).

We are committed to protecting your privacy and being fully transparent about our data practices.

1. Camera Permission & Usage

The mobile App for checking ticket validation requests access to your device’s camera solely for scanning QR codes on event tickets. The camera is activated only when you initiate a scan.

  • No photos, images, or video are captured, stored, or transmitted at any point.
  • The camera feed is processed locally on your device to read QR code data only.
  • No other sensitive device permissions (location, contacts, microphone, storage) are requested.
2. Information We Collect
Authentication Data

To use the App, you must log in with credentials issued through the Gonza Ticketing platform.

Ticket Validation Data

When a QR code is scanned or a Ticket ID is entered manually, the App sends that data to the Gonza Ticketing backend to verify the ticket. The server returns a validation result (e.g., valid, already used, or invalid), and the check-in event is logged for the event organizer’s records.

What We Do NOT Collect
  • We do not capture or store photos, images, or video from the camera.
  • We do not collect location data.
  • We do not collect contact lists, files, or any other data from your device.
  • We do not display advertisements or use advertising SDKs.
  • We do not sell user data to any third party.
3. How We Use Your Information

Information collected through the App is used solely to:

  • Authenticate authorized users of the App.
  • Validate event tickets against the Gonza Ticketing platform.
  • Maintain accurate, real-time check-in records for event organizers.
  • Prevent fraudulent or duplicate ticket usage at events.
4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or commercial purposes. Ticket validation data is shared only with the Gonza Ticketing platform backend, operated by Centenary Technology Services, and is accessible to the respective event organizer for their event management purposes.

5. Data Storage & Security

Ticket validation logs and event data are stored securely on Centenary Technology Services’ servers. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

Authentication tokens stored on the device are kept in secure storage and are cleared upon logout.

6. Data Retention

Ticket validation records are retained for as long as necessary to support event reconciliation and organizer reporting, or as required by applicable law. You may contact us to request deletion of your data.

7. Third-Party Services

The App connects exclusively to the Gonza Ticketing platform backend operated by Centenary Technology Services. We do not integrate third-party advertising, analytics, or social media SDKs into the App.

8. Children’s Privacy

The App is intended for use by adults in a professional capacity.

9. Your Rights

You may:

  • Request access to data associated with your account.
  • Request correction or deletion of your account data by contacting us.
  • Revoke camera permission at any time through your device settings.
10. Changes to This Policy
